Actor/Directors James Pegg and Jane Lesley were at the theatrecenter helm this week! Amongst other performance techniques they did some specific work on improvisation & characterisation skills; resulting in a collection of sketches which we will be developing in the coming weeks for the end of term presentation on 5th December!

Jeff Baker from Stunt Action Specialists brought his big bag of swords and a friend along this week! Anthony Allen (world class stunt man) came and joined us for a masterclass in hand to hand combat which resulted in the choreography of a ‘Bar Room Brawl’. We also revisited some of the sword play that we’d looked at earlier in the term and worked on our Shakespearean fight scene!

Today saw the return of ‘Comedy Dave’ Mounfield who introduced us to new ways of looking at fairytales with some hilarious results. I will never see Little Red Riding Hood again in the same way!!
