Last week we were joined by the ever popular ‘Comedy Dave’! Yes the legendary Dave Mounfield came and put us through our comedy paces with a session on surreal humour; culminating in the performance of 2 pieces, created during the session, and featuring a bizarre collection of characters including a Giant Squid & a talking hotdog called Samsung; and a supermarket from hell!!
Dave also leant his comedy eye to our sketches & monologues!

In case you haven’t already heard, it is with enormous pleasure that we announce the arrival of Jo’s baby – a little girl!!
Purdie Bo Banks was born on Friday 4th September – Mother and baby both doing well!!
We send our huge congratulations to Jo, Robb & Rufus!

Last week we were joined by the brilliant costume & make-up designer Ryan Laight who showed us how to create costumes from newspaper, and how to build characters from the costumes we had created; and Sheila was treated to a make-over by some of our younger students!!

We had a brilliant start to the new term on Saturday! We were joined by Actress/Director/Producer Jane Lesley who worked on Improvisation and Character Creation skills. We also started work on a selection of scenes for our end of term presentation!
The new format is a great success and a good time was had by all!
Looking forward to a fabulous term!

Not long to go until the new term begins… in our new home! We have lots of exciting new teachers coming in as well as the welcome return of some old familiar faces!
